What the payment covers

The amount shown at checkout is either the full amount for a lower-value order or a capped pre-order deposit. The remaining balance is requested only after the dispatch origin and estimated shipping window are confirmed.

Timing and changes

Batch timing and the expected dispatch window are confirmed by email after reservation. If the batch is delayed or fulfilment cannot proceed, we will contact the customer with the available options before requesting the balance.

Payment security

Card details must be entered only in the payment fields presented during checkout and are handled by the active payment gateway. Never send card numbers or security codes through the contact form.

Order limit

Different products may be reserved together, with a maximum of one unit of each product per order. A deposit is collected at checkout and any remaining merchandise balance is due before dispatch.

Current fulfilment details

Estimated dispatch: Microduck pre-orders: initial deliveries are targeted before Christmas 2026. Transit after dispatch typically takes 3–8 days, depending on destination.

Balance payment: Any remaining merchandise balance is paid separately before dispatch. Contact order support for your balance statement and payment instructions. The balance statement will show the full merchandise price, amounts already paid and remaining amount due. The balance will not be charged automatically.

Cancellation and refund: You may cancel your pre-order at any time before it is handed to the carrier. We will refund all payments collected for that order, including any delivery charges paid, to the original payment method, without a cancellation fee. Contact order support with your order number to request cancellation. The time for funds to appear depends on the payment provider. This does not reduce your rights under existing order terms or applicable law.

Delay or shortage handling: If the expected dispatch window changes, we will contact you with the revised estimate and available options. Before dispatch, you may choose to keep the order or cancel for a refund of payments collected. We will not request the remaining balance until the dispatch window is confirmed. If we cannot fulfil the order, we will refund payments collected.

The payment collected at checkout is capped at US$99, including applicable destination tax. If the total is below US$99, you pay the actual total. Other checkout currencies use the equivalent converted limit. Any remaining merchandise balance is due before dispatch and is not charged automatically. For one US$399 MD-01 without additional tax, you pay US$99 now and US$300 before dispatch. Where tax applies, checkout shows the exact deposit, tax and remaining merchandise balance.
